MARGARET PEARSON On Tuesday, December 31, 2002 at River East Personal Care Home, Margaret Pearson passed away at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by her husband Peter in 1988, and by her four brothers, Oliver, Howard, Earl and Stanley Rost. Her nephews and nieces and their families will lovingly remember her. Margaret Victoria Rost was born in Winnipeg on May 24, 1912, and resided here all her life. She married Peter Pearson on July 15, 1939 and they enjoyed almost 50 years together, living most of those years on Government Avenue in East Kildonan. Many summers were spent camping at West Hawk Lake, and Aunt Marg loved to tell stories about their fishing and berry picking expeditions during the good old days. Her other interests included working in her backyard vegetable garden, sewing her own clothes, doing crafts, and especially baking her own bread. Aunt Marg was happy with the simple pleasures in life. She was independent, strong, loving and kind. The family wishes to thank the staff at River East Personal Care Home for their loving care extended to our aunt during the past two years. In accordance with her instructions, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
