NAN EADIE It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Nan Eadie on January 6, 2003 at Health Sciences Centre at the age of 80. Nan was born June 10, 1922 to James and Catherine Meaney and spent her entire life in Winnipeg. She married Bob on November 29, 1949 and they spent 47 happy years together, prior to Bobs passing in 1995. Nans working career began at T. Eaton Co., and continued at Cliffords Ladies Wear, where she made many long-lasting friendships. Nan touched the lives of many people with her generosity and kindness. She always had a smile on her face and was well loved for her sense of humour. Nan always got great pleasure telling jokes and sharing funny stories. "Bad" Nan will be missed by all who knew her. Left to mourn her passing are her brother Tom (Eileen Mary) Meaney, sister Kay Gugins, sister Eileen (William) Couzens, all of California, and sister Mary Meaney of Vancouver, and brother-in-law James Eadie of Winnipeg. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and their families. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11 at 11:00 a.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway at Furby St. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, friends may make donations to CancerCare Manitoba, 109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or their charity of choice. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
