ANNA PRIGROSKI (nee Semenchuk) It is with deep sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Anna Prigroski, on Friday, January 10, 2003, at the Concordia Hospital, with her family by her side. Anna was born in Narol, MB, on August 16, 1912. In 1936 Mom married Nicholas Prigroski and they settled in the Birds Hill area. Anna was predeceased by her husband Nicholas; their son Delbert; parents Paraskeva and Pantelemon Semenchuk; brothers, Jack and Archie; and sisters, Katherine and Marion. She is survived by daughter Carolyn (Eugene) Harasymec; son George (Verna), son Eugene (Brenda) as well as eight precious granddaughters, Kimberley Suggitt and Allan, Christine, Stephanie and Tara Harasymec, Andrea and Amanda Prigroski, Cassandra and Clarissa Prigroski. She also leaves to mourn two great-grandsons, Nicholas and Graham Suggitt; brother Henry; and two sisters, Sophie (John) Barchyn, Emilie (Fred) Storeshaw; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mom was a very strong, caring person who loved family life, her church, singing in the choir, gardening and cooking. Mom recently celebrated her 90th birthday in August at Concordia Place. The family wishes to thank the staff of Concordia Place, where Mom resided for over a year, and Concordia Hospital for their care and attention to Moms needs. Prayers will be offered Tuesday evening, January 14, at 7:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Divine Liturgy to follow on Wednesday, January 15 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 5635 Henderson Hwy., Narol, with Father Bob Kennaugh officiating. Interment at the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, donations in Moms memory may be made to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church Building Fund, 5635 Henderson Hwy., Narol. We will always remember your love, and live by your example Vichnaya Pamyat! Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
