Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM PHILIP BECKER In the presence of his loving family, William Becker passed away at St. Boniface General Hospital on Thursday, January 16, 2003, at the age of 80 years. Bill is survived by his daughter Carla and son-in-law Raymond. He was predeceased by his wife Edith. Bill was born in Winnipeg but spent much of his youth in Lampman, SK. Bill volunteered to serve his country at the start of the Second World War. He served during the entire war in the Royal Canadian Navy. Following the war, he settled in Winnipeg where he met and married his beloved wife Edith. He worked at the Post Office until his retirement. Bill always had a story to tell and was known for his good humour. The family would like to thank Dr. John Peachell, Dr. George Louradis and Dr. Robert Hudson for their skilled care. We would also like to thank the medical nursing and support staff of the St. Boniface General Hospital Operating Room, Surgical I.C.U., C.V.T. Stepdown and Main Unit and Medical I.C.U. for their excellent care and compassion. We would like to thank Joe and Lorraine Stefanuk for their prayer and support, and Sylvia and Graham Starmer and Jana and Alex Dueck for being there when we needed them.
