JOHN PATRICK PUTSCHKER May 22, 1956 - January 23, 2003 On Thursday, January 23, 2003 at St. Boniface Hospital our beloved husband and father John Putschker. Left us suddenly due to his heart condition. He was predeceased by his father Herman Putschker in 1992. He will be deeply missed by his wife Lorna, daughter Crystal and son Jason. His mother Rosa and brothers, Peter (Jocelyn) and Karl, nieces, Christina (Joey) Bolin, Sydney and nephew Tyrone. Also by his three sisters-in-law and their families and his many special friends and acquaintances. John always faced challenges with a rare sense of humour and a strong determination, despite his many trials. He dedicated himself to his work at Brenntag Canada and prior to that at P & H Foods. He enjoyed meeting new people and taking on exciting challenges along the way. He was a longtime member of the German Society of Winnipeg and enjoyed camping at Camp Neustadt. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 27 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. A gathering of family and friends will be held in the reception centre.
