CORA LETITIA ROSCOE Cora Letitia Roscoe passed away peacefully in Nanaimo, BC, on January 20, 2003. She was predeceased by her husband Mickey; and her eldest son Larry. She is survived by her son Barry and his wife Kris; her daughter-in-law Audrey; and her grandchildren, Keith, Jeffrey, Robbie, Alannah and their families. Cora spent most of her life in Manitoba and moved to Victoria to join her children and their families after her retirement. She was a devoted wife and mother, a loving grandmother and great-grandmother, and a good friend to many. A memorial tea will be held at Sands Funeral Chapel on Goldstream Avenue in Victoria from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1. A graveside service will be held in Brandon, MB, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband in the family plot. The date is to be announced. The family wishes to express its gratitude to the staff of Dufferin Place for their commitment and compassion, also to Dr. Jong of Victoria and Dr. Baird of Nanaimo for their devoted care of our mother. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Cora may be made to the Canadian Diabetes.
