MARY JOAN CREW (nee WHITE) Peacefully on Wednesday, January 29, 2003, Mom passed away with her family at her side at the Grace Hospital at the age of 72. Mom leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her memory her loving husband Bill; her children, Tom (Stephanie), Laurie (Andy), Shaun (Judy) and Brett (Sandy) grandchildren, Michael, Marnie, Jordan, Chase, Colton, Austin, Elaine and Stephen; a sister Frances; sisters-in-law, Polly and Shirle; as well as numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and dear friends. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, January 31, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John Brebeuf Roman Catholic Church, 1707 John Brebeuf Pl. A reception will follow the service at the Charleswood Legion. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
