Offer Condolences or MemoryELIONORA LOUISE (LUCY) POPP (nee BAUMING) It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Lucy Popp. Lucy was called to her heavenly home on Monday, January 27, 2003. Lucy was born August 22, 1918, in Mac Nutt, SK. Lucy was predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Katherine Bauming; and her brother Bill Bauming. Lucy leaves to mourn her passing her beloved husband Alvin Popp; her loving sisters, Ella Sciles, Emma Andres (Arnold), Gladys Lavallee; and brother Jack Bauming (June). As well as sisters-in-law, Helen Popp, Martha Popp, Eileen Popp; brother-in-law Edgar Popp; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3 at 2:00 p.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, 1400 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg, MB. Viewing will take place one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Vic Esperanza will officiate. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. West. Lunch will be served at the church following the interment service. In lieu of flowers, should family and friends so desire, donations may be made in memory of Lucy Popp to the Cdn Lutheran World Relief, 1018 Kingsbury Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2P 9Z9.
