GERTRUDE "TRUDY" PUTNAM Peacefully, on Monday, January 27, 2003, at Extendicare/Oakview Place, Trudy died at the age of 98 years. She is survived by her sons, Don (Marion), Winnipeg, MB, Ray (Pat), Kelowna, BC and Bruce (Laurie), Saskatoon, SK; daughter Isla Thompson (Richard), Kelowna, BC, 25 grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her sister Rhea Baker, Kelowna, BC. She was predeceased by her husband R. Hunter Putnam in 1971 and her son Melville in 1959. Trudy was born in Riding Mountain, MB on September 11, 1904. She lived most of her life in the Bowsman, MB area and, in later years, in Winnipeg. A graveside service will take place in the Bowsman Cemetery at a later date. Our family would like to express our sincere thanks to the staff at Oakview Place for the exceptional care given to mom over the years.
