ALMA BEITZ Peacefully on February 28, 2003 at her daughter Jackies residence, Alma passed away after a lengthy illness. Alma is survived by her son Gus and wife Becky, daughters, Gwen Korne, Jackie Chambers and husband Wayne; grandchildren, Michelle Carlson and husband David, Mark Beitz, Jamie Korne, Trisha Bragg and husband Gordie, Amber Chambers and fiance Terris Baran and Jade Chambers; sister Joyce Breyfogle and husband Warren; and brother Rodney Gluck and wife Gerry; as well as her dear friend Rose Horvath, also Doris Beitz and Harold Korne. Alma will be sadly missed by many friends, neighbours and numerous relatives. Mom was predeceased by her husband Jack in July, 1987, mother Theresa Gluck in 1991, father Gustave Gluck in 1968, brothers, Wilfred in 1951 and Ralph in 1975. For all those who knew Mom would agree that she was a very kind, caring and generous individual who was always there to lend a helping hand. Moms home was always open to friends and relatives. She enjoyed providing a generous hospitality to one and all. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Johns Lutheran Church, College at McKenzie Street. Interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or to St. Johns Lutheran Church Mission Fund. God looked around his garden and found an empty space, He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face.
