CLAUDIA LANSARD Born at Haute-Savoie, France, July 5, 1907, Claudia Lansard passed away peacefully on Monday, March 17, 2003, at age 95, at the Manitoba Development Centre where she resided for many years. Nee le 5 juillet 1907 en Haute-Savoie, France, Claudia Lansard renda son ame a Dieu a lage de 95 ans au Manitoba Development Centre ou elle resida pendant plusieurs annees. Besides her parents, Claudia was predeceased by four brothers, Alfred, Jean-Marie, Claudius and Leon; and four sisters, Leonie, Clemence, Alice and Marie; and also many nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews. Claudia and her family emigrated from France in 1914 where they took permanent residence in Canada. Aunt Claudia was a petite lady with the most beautiful blue eyes. She found great peace and comfort when praying with her. Aunt Claudia received wonderful care from the staff at the Manitoba Developmental Centre and I would like to thank deeply each and everyone who cared so well for Auntie during her lifetime and especially through her final days. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 21 at 10:30 a.m. at the Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Ste. Anne, MB. Viewing at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Fr. R. Chartier presiding. Interment parish cemetery. My sincere gratitude to the wonderful, compassionate, dedicated and caring staff for leading her on her final journey to peace near her God. Aunt Claudia, you will be remembered always by those who loved you and visited you, and also the ones that couldnt visit you but carried you in their hearts, and mostly the staff who understood you and attended to your very needs. Aunt Claudia, you will remain forever in our memories. We would like to say a very special thank you to the Knysh Funeral Home for being so kind and helpful in every way. Thank you especially to Nick who directed the funeral. KNYSH FUNERAL CHAPEL 582-0973
