MARY POPOFF 1901 - 2003 Peacefully on April 9, 2003, Mary Popoff passed away at Donwood Manor Personal Care Home at the age of 101 years. Mary was predeceased by her husband Fred, 1984; son, Mike Popowe 1991; and daughter, Anne Woykin, 2002. She leaves to cherish her memory daughter, Laura Blackhall; daughter-in-law Anne Popowe, Winnipeg; son-in-law Jake Woykin, Vancouver. She had seven grandchildren, Larry (Judy) Kalmacoff, Peachland BC; Jim (Nadia) Kalmacoff, Edmonton, AB; Dennis (Beverly) Stewart, Lakeland, FL; Glenn (Debbie) Stewart, Swan River, MB; Howard Stewart, Snowmass, CO; Charlene (Eugene) Burnett and Darrell Popowe, Winnipeg. She also had ten great-grandchildren. Mothers life was devoted to her home and family. She loved her garden, flowers and numerous crafts and excelled in all her projects. Her home was always there for us to share and enjoy. She will be sadly missed. Our sincere thanks to the dedicated staff of Donwood Manor Personal Care Home (2 South) for their devoted care, kindness and compassion to Mary, especially through the trying times.
