ROMEO J. PROULX Peacefully, on Thursday, April 17, 2003, Romeo Proulx passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 88 years. Romeo will be lovingly remembered by children, Al (Dot) Proulx, Marcel (Phyllis) Proulx of Didsbury, AB, Jeanette (Ed) Hein, Lena (Al) Hamilton, of Surrey, BC, Flo Proulx, and Robert (Misty) Proulx of Brooks, AB; 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Laurence in 1950 and his wife Clarisse in 1995. Prayers will be said Tuesday, April 22 at St. Boniface Cathedral, 190 de la Cathedrale Ave. at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 23 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. with Fr. Alphonse Bongo as officiate. Interment will follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens with a gathering of family and friends in the Glen Lawn Reception Centre. Pallbearers will be Romeos grandchildren, Ray and Ken Proulx, Colin and Colin Jr. McDougall, Mike Sutherland and Scott Brandt. The family extends their gratitude to the staff of Home Care especially Roger Groening for their care and compassion.
