FRAN RANKINE Fran Rankine passed away peacefully on April 21, 2003, late of New Westminster at the age of 87. Predeceased by her first husband Al Saunders in 1988. Survived by her dear husband Malcolm (Mac) and her loving family, Geri (Frank) Dauk, Rick (Rita) Saunders, Barb (Cliff) Larson; also grandchildren, Ed, Lauree, Geoff, Steve, Scott, Jody, Ryan and Chrissy. Also survived by Malcolms family. Fran was happily married to Al Saunders and operated Saunders Bake Shop in East Kildonan for 50 years. Fran was reunited with her teenage sweetheart, Malcolm and enjoyed 13 years of marriage with him. Funeral service will be held Thursday, April 24 at 2:00 p.m. from Columbia Bowell Chapel, 219 6th St. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frans memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
