IRENE BEATRICE McCONNELL (nee TULLY) Peacefully on Thursday, May 1, 2003 at her residence in the Lions Prairie Manor, Portage la Prairie, Irene Beatrice "Bea" McConnell passed away at the age of 93 years. Predeceased by her husband Edward McConnell, she will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Glen (Pat) and Larry (Donna) and their families. Bea was born in Reaburn, MB on June 1, 1909. Memories of her as a homemaker and the care she gave to her family will be treasured. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and there will be a private family burial. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Beas memory to Lions Prairie Manor Foundation Inc., Chapel Building Fund, 24 9th Street SE, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 3V4.
