ANNIE (ANNE) SAPISCHUK (nee MOTOZ) Peacefully, on Monday, May 5, 2003, after a short illness, Anne said goodbye to us and went to join our Lord in Heaven. She was born May 10, 1929 in Mountain Road, MB, and lived there in her younger years. She met Metro in the early 60s and they married in 1962. Anne and Metro lived for many years in the North End of Winnipeg and worked tirelessly to build a beautiful and happy home. They hosted many a family gathering and were always there for anyone in need. Anne led the Sacred Heart Apostleship of Prayer for St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church for many years, and was also a member of both the Womens League and the Parents Committee. She contributed countless hours volunteering and baking for various church functions. She was Metros steadfast caregiver when he fell ill in 1993 until his passing September 19, 2001.
