ELSIE LYNNE QUAYE July 1, 1944 - May 10, 2003 After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of their beloved Lynne Quaye. Lynne will be missed by her children, Darren (Lily), Teresa and Paul (Lisa) her grandchildren, Danielle, Mathew, Zachary and Andrew; as well as her mother Winnifred Andresen of Nanaimo, BC; father Sydney Collier of Toronto, ON; sister Sandra of Seattle, WA. Lynne will also be fondly remembered by her nephews, Glenn and Tom; numerous other relatives, friends and acquaintances. A lifelong Winnipegger, Lynnes infectious enthusiasm could be seen in both her business and volunteer activities. After many years in direct sales, Lynne took her entrepreneurial skills to a higher level when she began Quaye Consulting. Lynnes tireless efforts and "can do" attitude motivated individuals around her in both her professional and private life. The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce and Toastmasters Centennial Club 313 were but two of her passions. Lynne won numerous awards during her years of volunteer service, such as Volunteer of the Year at Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce and Area Governor of the Year in Toastmasters. Her grandchildren were the delight of her life and always were her first priority. The family would like to thank Dr. Krepart and his associates as well as the incredible staff of the 5th floor Womens Pavilion for their kindness and compassion over the course of her illness. A celebration of Lynnes life will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (South of the Mint) with a viewing one-half hour prior to the service. A gathering to exchange memories will immediately follow in the reception hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lynnes memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. 982-7550
