GAIL HOPPER July 31, 1974 - May 10, 2003 "To Every Sunset there must also be a Sunrise"Gail Hopper Suddenly on May 10, 2003 Gail Michelle Hopper passed away into the loving arms of her late father, Robert Hopper. She will be lovingly remembered by her life partner, Liana Lutz; her two dogs, Jessie and Bailey and her two cats, Scrunchie and Blue. Gail will also be lovingly remembered by her mother Nancy Hopper of Calgary; brothers, Keith and Kevin (Sally and son Christian) and numerous family members and friends in Montreal, Calgary, Revelstoke and Winnipeg. Gail touched the lives of many people in the many places she called home and had a special place in her heart for animals. No problem was ever too big to try and solve especially when a family member or a friend was involved. Gail had the best sense of humour and would always find ways to bring a smile to anyones face when they needed it most. Even in a letter, Gail could bring joy and laughter to the reader as she shared even the little things in her life. The letters became a wonderful story to be read over and over again. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the Paramedic Service for their prompt and caring response and the Emergency Department at the Grace Hospital for their kindness and understanding at this difficult and confusing time. A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, May 15 at 2:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1858 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Gails memory to The Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 1X3, The Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6 or World Vision of Canada (Memorial Childcare Fund), 101 - 902 St. James St., Winnipeg, MB R3G 3J7.
