Unexpectedly on May 15, 2003, Herman Edgild Collins at age 66 was called home to meet his heavenly father. Herman was predeceased by his mother Victoria Rose; son Cyril Herman Lynch Jr., and niece Portia Callender. He will lovingly be cherished and remembered by his wife Althea; sister Norma; son-in-law Garvin; daughters, Phillipa, Patsy, Roslyn, Tina and Rebecca; sons, Steven, Anthony and Chris; daughter-in-law Kimberly; nieces, Gemma, Venus, Agatha, Pat, Allison, Bianca; nephew Ken; grandchildren, Tenille, Peaches, Toni, Maliq, Shaniqua, Sherell, Cyril Jr., Bryant, Dale, RoNeshia; great-grandchildren, Semard and Estrella and a host of other relatives and friends. Born in Trinidad in 1937, Herman immigrated to Canada in 1970. He started his career at Versatile and eventually retired in April 2001 from the Health Sciences Centre. He had a love for the steel drum and was known as one of the greatest pan players of all time. A celebration of Hermans life will be held on Thursday, May 22 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Anglican Church on Donald and Graham. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 21 between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. at Knysh Chapel, 1020 Main St. KNYSH FUNERAL CHAPEL 1020 MAIN STREET 582-0973
