LLOYD GEORGE BEIRNES 1919 - 2003 Peacefully after lengthy health problems, Lloyd passed away on May 25, 2003 at Seven Oaks Hospital. He was born on July 2, 1919 at Narcisse, MB. He was a jack-of-all-trades and could fix almost anything, from broken machinery to broken plumbing. He was a family man, as at home in the kitchen as he was hunting and fishing. Lloyd held a number of jobs over the years and after retiring from Pritchard Engineering he enjoyed playing golf and cribbage, as well as the freedom to travel to Europe, the west coast and Las Vegas. He was predeceased by his wife, Marjorie in June 2001 and is survived by his eight children, Ron (Jing), MaryLou (Larry), Raymond (Annie), Lynn (Gary), Terry (Martine), Dawn, Howie (Shelly) and Patrick; and 11 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Gladys, Winnie; brother Cyril; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A private interment will take place at a later date.
