Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPETER EDGAR OCONNOR Peacefully passed away at the age of 82 years on Monday, June 2, 2003 at Golden Links Lodge, with his wife at his side. Peter was born in Cartwright, MB. He received his education in Winnipeg, joined the Ordinance Corps during the Second World War and was wounded overseas in Italy. He was married in 1946 and worked for the government in Prosthetics Services. He was a member of the Manitoba War Amps Association, the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, and the Stony Mountain Legion. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Winnifred; sister Rita Bohemier; sons, Patrick (Misty), Monty (Kathy) and Rory (Sheila) daughter Mary; grandchildren, Darwin, Russel, Albert, Crystal and Stephen and great-grandchild Natasha. Peters family is grateful to the staff at Golden Links Lodge for their kind and gentle care. Winnifred would also like to especially thank Pamela Brennon for her concern and support during the past week. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 6 at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., Aubrey Street entrance.
