Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWARD JOHN (TED) RANSON June 19, 1943 - June 3, 2003 It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of Ted Ranson Sr., the greatest husband, father and brother that any man could hope to be. Ted passed away suddenly, yet peacefully, in the company of his family on June 3, 2003. Ted will always be remembered for being a devoted family man. His genuine, fun-loving personality brought joy into many peoples lives. In 1962, Ted began a rewarding career in the airline industry working as a station attendant for Trans Air. 32 years later, through honest, hard work, Ted successfully advanced his career to become a senior executive for Canadian Airlines. Ted will live forever in the hearts of his family and friends. Married for 37 years, he was an adoring husband and best friend to his wife, June. He was a devoted father to his children, Ted Jr. and Jaida. He was truly a second Dad to his son-in-law Liam. He was an unwavering friend to his brother Bill. Ted Sr. also leaves behind a number of cherished friends and extended family. Teds passion for nurturing life-long relationships has taught us all a lesson about whats truly important in life. A celebration of Teds life will be held on June 21 in Richmond, BC. Please contact his family for further details. In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate if you made a donation to the Richmond Hospital Foundation in Ted Ransons memory. This hospital is in great need of important, life-saving equipment, and we can only hope to create some good out of our incomprehensible loss. Your donation will be acknowledged with a card to the family, and you will receive a tax receipt for income tax purposes. For further information, please contact the Richmond Hospital Foundation: (604) 244-5547. We would like to extend our thanks for the love and support of our family and friends during this very difficult time. Our family would also like to acknowledge all of Dads golf buddies, and the kind nurses and staff at the Richmond Hospital.
