WALTER QUIRING We are sad to announce the passing of Walter Quiring on June 7, 2003 at Park Manor Personal Care Home. Walter is survived by his beloved wife of almost 60 years, Anna; his daughter Mary, husband Patrick (Ryan, Lisa and Darren) daughter Katie, husband Mark (Geoffrey, Adam, Janet and Angela) son Ronald, wife Janet and Rons son Evan. He is also survived by three sisters, Katherine Meyer, Anna Peters, Jessie Lowen (Nick) and one brother Frank (Nettie), sister-in-law Maria Quiring; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John Braun (Mary), Jake Braun (Gertrude), Karl H. Richter (Elizabeth) and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Walter lived most of his life in Winnipeg. He was a hard worker and enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping at Royal Lake with his children and grandchildren. He was generous with his time and his love of his family. He was always willing to do what was necessary. The family wishes to thank the staff at Park Manor for their gentle care of Walter during his short stay with them. Their generosity and kindness will always be cherished. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11, at 1:30 p.m. at Sargent Avenue Mennonite Church, 926 Garfield St. at Sargent Avenue, with Pastor E. Epp officiating. Viewing at the church prior to the service. If friends desire, donations may be made to Park Manor Personal Care Home. We love you and miss you.
