Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELAINE H. PYLYPIUK (nee HENZEL) With great sadness on Saturday, June 7, 2003 Elaine passed away at the age of 59 years. She is survived by her loving husband Maurice of 41 years and three daughters, Cynthia (Edward) Yorski of Winnipeg, Janice (Kelly) Buors of Winnipeg and Brenda (Fred) Major of Alberta. She will be sadly missed by five grandchildren, Ian and Andrew Yorski, Joshua Buors and Amber and Melissa Major. She is also survived by her mother Nellie Henzel and four brothers, Eugene (Denise), Walter (Carol), Raymond (Diana) and Donnie (Colleen) all of Winnipeg as well as many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her daughter (1966) and her father (1989). Elaine was born on July 8, 1943 in Pansy, MB and then her family moved to Winnipeg. She met Maurice in 1958 and they married in 1961. She worked at the Canada Post office for 11 years and then enrolled as a member of the Childrens Aid Society and was an active foster parent for 18 years. Not only did she have a kind loving heart for her own children, she was a loving role model for many other children. Once her grandchildren came along she then dedicated herself to giving loving care to them. The family would like to thank Dr. Hughes of Lorette, Dr. Chatel and the Ste. Annes Palliative Care Unit for the compassion they showed our mother. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, June 10 at 7:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. No. 1 East at Navin Road. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 11 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michaels Ukrainian Catholic Church, 400 Day St. with Father Andrew Wach presiding. Interment to follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ian Yorski, Andrew Yorski, Darryl Henzel, Russell Pelepiuk, Richard Henzel and Brian Henzel. Rest in Peace GREEN ACRES Funeral Home, Cemetery and Crematorium Hwy. No. 1 E. at Navin, 222-3241
