DOUGLAS RALPH QUALLY 1925 - 2003 Peacefully on July 6, 2003, Douglas Qually passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. He is survived by his wife Marie of 58 years; son Arthur (Lorraine) daughters, Janet (Wesley) Schilke, Barbara (Mike) McCaughan; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeno, Quinn, and Morgan; great-grandson Richard; brother Stanley (Norma) sisters, Marion Bales, Eunice Storey, Mabel Piper, Valetta (George) Petterson. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Douglas was born and raised in Dacotah Siding and spent his early years farming. He later went on to work as a welder for two transport companies. Douglas retired to the city of Winnipeg in 1983. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 10 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. The family would like to thank the staff of the Dialysis Centre on Sherbrook Street for their care and compassion over the last seven years, and also to the staff at the Health Sciences Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation, 200 - 55 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1L8 or a charity of ones choice.
