Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCARMELITA M. HIPOLITO On Saturday, July 5, 2003, Carmelita M. Hipolito, our beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, was peacefully taken from us at the Seven Oaks General Hospital. Carmelita was born in the Philippines on July 12, 1932. Together with her husband and best friend, Mateo, of nearly 52 years, produced 11 wonderful children, 32 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Her memory will live on through their children, Lorna (nee Hipolito) and Eddie Tumang, Jerry and Nora, Arnel and Beth, Rico and Elvie, Roland and Rose, Fhe (nee Hipolito) and Rhic Dela Cruz, Bert and Noemi, Roslen and Naty, Roger and Rowena, Nixon and Vilma, Rene and Randy; and their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her memory will also be cherished by her many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. We know she loved us very much and we will love and remember her always. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Seven Oaks Hospital and friends of the family that offered support and condolences. Lamay will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight) on Saturday and Sunday, July 12 and 13, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 14 at St. Edwards Roman Catholic Church, 818 Arlington St., with a reception following at St. Edwards Parish Hall.
