MARIA MARGARETTE TIPPMANN September 29, 1924 - July 26, 2003 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, oma and omi on July 26, 2003. After a very brief stay in the hospital Mom has joined her husband Helmut, who predeceased her in 1984. We will miss her with all our hearts for she has been the center of our family. Left to mourn are her children and their families, daughter Rita Trampe (Klaus), grandson Bruce Trampe (Shelley), great-granddaughters, Lindley, Jessica and Ashley, granddaughter Karen Chorney (Todd), great-grandsons, Matthew and Brandon; daughter Brigitte Berkers (Ken Caterer), granddaughter Krista Magdic (Ivan), great-granddaughters, Emily and Juliana and great-grandson Peter; son Hartmut, granddaughter Alanna and grandson Jason; son Gary, grandsons, Ryan and Cory. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30, at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with the Pastor Bruce Adams officiating. Visitation will be held one-half hour prior to the service time. Interment and reception will follow. The family would like to thank the ICU staff at Concordia Hospital for the kind and compassionate care shown to Maria and her family.
