WILLIE MAE HAMILTON Peacefully on August 10, 2003 Willie Mae Hamilton passed away at the Maples Personal Care Home to be with her Lord. Mom loved to sing and now she is singing with the angels. She was predeceased by her husband Howard Sr.; and son Howard Jr.; stepsons, Milton, Alfred; and infant son Harold; brother Marshall Gaston. She is survived by her family, daughter Louise (Ralph) Symonds; sons, Horace (Vera) and Sylvester (Judy) grandchildren; great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Ruth Gaston; also numerous other family members and friends. Willie Mae lived at the Maples for 12 years. She has been a born again Christian most of her entire life, and attended Pilgrim Baptist Church. She sang every day of her life. The family would like to thank the staff at the Maples Personal Care Home for their care and compassion. "May God Bless Her" Funeral services will be held in Edmonton, arrangements are pending.
