THOMAS RACKLIN February 28, 1934 - August 13, 2003 Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Thomas, aged 69, passed away at Riverview Health Centre. He will be sadly missed by his long time friend Pat Macfarlane and her daughters, Marie, Kelly and Debbie and six grandchildren; his uncle Lawrence (Ruth) Racklin; two cousins, "Cookie" Trupish and Avrim Kuchner and their families; special friends, Wally Kolt, Gloria Lapierre and Jim Mudry. Thomas was raised in Winnipeg and attended St. Johns High and Tech Voc. The love of his life was car racing and built his own race car. He was very proud of his many trophies. Thomas worked for the City of Winnipeg, District 3 for 34 years as a truck driver. He was a very kind man that was always there to lend a helping hand. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him. According to Thomass wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, August 15 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Fr. Ray Baudry officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Thomass memory to CancerCare Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
