MARIA COSTA Peacefully after a short illness, on Monday, August 11, 2003, Maria left us to be with her Lord. Maria leaves behind her sister in Montreal; brothers Fernando and Antonio; nephews, nieces and their families. Maria loved to be with people and she socialized with her friends at church, in the neighbourhood and also with her Portuguese community. She cherished her friends at the 777 Sergent Ave. block; they were like family to her. Prayers will be held on Thursday, August 14 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. N. with Rev. Fr. Jose Eduardo Medeiros officiating. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery. DESCANSE EM PAZ CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
