ANNE LINA QUIRT (JONATCHICK) (nee PROBE) 1915 - 2003 Our dear mother, grandmother Anne passed away Friday, August 15, 2003 at the Grace Hospital after a brief illness. She is survived by her daughter Beverley Jones (Len) sons, Kenneth Jonatchick, Gary Jonatchick (Anne), Donald Jonatschick (Janice) nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and her special friend and constant companion, Fred Lemieux. She was predeceased by her first husband Jack Jonatchick (1959) and her second husband Walter Quirt (1975). Anne was the last surviving sibling of nine children in the Probe family. She was born in Radville, SK moving to Manitoba and residing in the Elmwood area. Anne worked for Eatons and later for the Marlborough Hotel. She was a very active senior participating in the Manitoba Marathon when she was 65 years old. As per Annes request, cremation and private graveside service will take place Friday, August 22 at 10:00 a.m. in the Elmwood Cemetery. Contact the family for reception time and location. The family wishes to thank the staff at Misericordia Health Centre, where she resided until her passing, for their wonderful love and care and to Fred for his gentle love and care that he gave to her in the last years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Annes memory to the Misericordia Health Centre, 99 Cornish Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1A2.
