I worked for Laverne for several years plowing snow in the Teulon-Warren areas out of Wpg shop. I will always remember his tough John Wayne presence as he entered any room. He walked proud and tall and his authority was very noticeable. If you did your work and did it well, you earned his respect. I was just a junior operator when he picked me to operate the new truck plow designated to service the new four-lanes on PTH 7. I was overjoyed and in disbelief. In return I gave him the dedicated service that he wanted. Rest In Peace my friend. Your work on Earth is done. - Posted by: Linden Johnson (friend) on: May 17, 2020
