SARAH ELLEN BROWN On Saturday, September 6, 2003 at the Golden West Centennial Lodge, Sarah Ellen Brown passed away peacefully at the age of 82 with close friend Lori by her side. Sarah was born in Winnipeg and resided in Portage la Prairie for many years. She then moved back to Winnipeg in the 1970s. Sarah had many passions in life, the greatest being the love of children. The smile of a childs face always brightened Sarahs day. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She leaves behind her sisters, Maisey, Jean, Jeanette, close friends, Kay MacGregor and family, Anne Hiebert and family and special friends at MBS Residence. Special thanks to staff on the 4th floor of Golden West Centennial Lodge. According to Sarahs wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 11 at 10:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Sarahs memory to MBS Residence, 1-189 Evanson St., Winnipeg, MB R3G 0N9 or the Salvation Army, Box 1932, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R2.
