Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNA-MARIA SANTORELLI (nee LAMBIASE) March 7, 1938-September 24, 2003 It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Anna-Maria Santorelli on September 24, 2003 at the young age of 65. Anna was predeceased by her husband Pellegrino in 1999. Anna moved to Winnipeg in 1969, where Anna and Pellegrino settled and began their own family business, Cafe Italia. In 1975, they along with their children, established Mamma Mia Ristorante; the restaurant which became a place that Anna was very proud of. She worked hard and also thrived on the companionship that she shared with her friends and family. Anna will be greatly and sadly missed by her children, Perry, Filomena (Evan Everett), Rosanna (Domenico Mandaliti) and her cherished grandchildren, Anna-Maria, Marianna, Evan Jr. and Alessandra. Also survived in her memory is her sister Teresa Carollo from Montreal, Gina Lambiase, Antonietta Persico, Giuseppe Lambiase, Bruno Lambiase all from Caserta, Italy. Prayers will be said on Sunday, September 28 at 7:00 p.m. in the Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Avenue. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 29 at 10:00 a.m. also in the Church, with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano as Celebrant. Entombment to follow in the Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverley Street. We would like to thank many dear friends of the family for there great support during this difficult time. My Nonna, was a hard and great working lady. She had a garden full of joy and a heart full of love!..Alex. Nonna, you are a great and wonderful person, you always thought of others before yourself. I will miss you!..Evan. Nonna, now you can watch over us from above. I Love you. Lots and lots more!..Marianna. Nonna, you were a very generous and loving person. I just happen to discover the passing on of Mrs. Santorelli when searching for information on the net. I was just a dishwasher for De Mama Mia Pizzaria back in the early 80s, Thank you for generous help during those periods and your great and genuine tippers for all those Italian dishes.
