MARION RING TINKLER It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on September 27, 2003. She passed away peacefully at the Golden Links Lodge where she had been a resident for the past seven years. Marion was born on January 3, 1914 and resided in the Neidpath, SK area until her marriage to her loving husband Wilbert on November 29, 1934. Since that time they worked the family farm at Starbuck, MB until Wilberts passing in 1988. Marion then moved to Winnipeg to be closer to the family that she so dearly loved. Marion was predeceased by her parents, Bernard and Jean Sabine; her loving husband Wilbert and her sister Jean Rhynard. Left to cherish her memory are her four sons, Brian and wife Carole, Barry and wife Florence, Glenn and special friend Marina, Gordon and wife Valerie; 10 grandchildren, Denis, Dana (Duane), Dale, Jennifer, Kerrie, Deanne, Katherine, Christopher, Paula, Skylor; two great-grandchildren, Jordan and Jonah Dandeneau; and her sister Beryl Long of Arcola, SK. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3 at the First Alliance Church of Winnipeg, 222 McCarthy St. (Perimeter and Portage Avenue) at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff at the Golden Links Lodge for their care and support over the past seven years.
