KINGDON CLEEVE POOLEY June 13, 1913 - October 10, 2003 Peacefully, at the Health Sciences Centre, on October 10, 2003, Kingdon Cleeve Pooley passed away at the age of 90 years. Kingdon was predeceased by his loving wife, Vivian Lorna Pooley, and by his four brothers, Gordon, Jack, Ralph and Len. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Bill (Barb) Pooley and his daughter, Roxanne (Jim) Carnegie; grandchildren, Robyn and Paige Pooley and Kim Papp and Michael Carnegie, and great-grandchildren, Chenice and Cody Papp and Brenden Carnegie. According to Dads wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB on Wednesday, October 15 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Canon Tony Harwood Jones of St. Georges Anglican Church officiating. Honorary Pallbearers are Bill Finlay, Charlie Wilson, Clarence Saunders and Cal Hawthorn. A private family interment will follow. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Kings memory to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg MB.
