Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLLOYD NELSON BROCKHILL Lloyd passed away at Oakview Place with his wife by his side, a month after his 88th birthday, on October 11, 2003. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of over 60 years Mabel; his daughter Patricia (Andy) his daughter-in-law Edith; grandchildren, Dave (Darlene), Jodi, Jackie, Shirley, and Krista; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Amanda and many nieces and nephews. Lloyd was predeceased by his son Robert in 2001. Lloyd started his career like every other teenager doing odd jobs, then joined the Army Service Core. He then for over 30 years ran his own delivery service in Winnipeg. Lloyd enjoyed his cottages at White Lake and Brereton Lake with many of his friends and most of all his family. He was well known for his hunting and fishing skills, which he passed on to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lloyd always said, "If I die tomorrow Ive had a great life". And it was great! We will all miss him. He was everybodys dad, grandpa, OlPapa, Lloydee, and Brock. In compliance with his wishes, no funeral service will be held. Lloyd and his family would like to thank the staff at Deer Lodge Centre, Extendicare/Oakview Place, neighbours and friends and all those who cared for him in his final days. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of choice. God Bless you Lloyd, peace be with you.
