ANTONINA (LINA) POLIMENI (nee MALLAMACE) August 7, 1930 - October 11, 2003 We sadly announce the passing of our dear mother Antonina Mallamace Polimeni on Saturday, October 11, 2003. She was predeceased by her parents, Orazio and Giovanna; husband Philip, of 37 years; older sister Rosa and brother-in-law Carmelo. She is survived by her brothers, Filippo (Giustina), Nino (Graziella) sisters, Maria, Melina (Franco) and Pina (Santo) of Reggio Calabria, Italy; son Joseph (Christine) and daughter Isabella (Cameron) of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Alexander, Philip, Julian and Adrian as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Antonina (Lina) was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She cooked wonderfully and enjoyed making supper for her family. She also enjoyed watching soccer and cheering for her favourite soccer club, Reggina, from her hometown in Italy. We would like to extend our gratitude to the nurses and staff at St. Boniface Hospital, Palliative Care. We also thank Dr. T. Panaskevich, Dr. L.K. Cheung, Dr. J. Sisler, Dr. A. Maksymiak, Dr. A.
