WALDEMAR (WALTER) NICKEL On Monday, October 20, 2003 our beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, father-in-law, brother-in-law and friend Walter Nickel passed away after a short battle with cancer. Walter is survived by his wife of 42 years, Elenor; daughter Katharine (Michael) Ewatski; son Richard and only grandchild Taylor Ewatski. Also, his canine companion "Pee Wee". He was predeceased by his parents, Julius and Augusta and sister Olga. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24, at 10:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Flowers gratefully declined, if so desired donations may be made in Walters memory to CancerCare Manitoba or the Manitoba Cancer Society.
