CHERYL LYNNE PROVENSKI (nee PATRICK) April 25, 1962 - October 21, 2003 On Tuesday, October 21, 2003, Cheryl Lynne Provenski passed away at the Health Sciences Centre after a courageous battle with melanoma cancer. Cheryl is survived by husband Don; daughter Michele; sons, Tony and Andrew; mother Bernice; stepdad Larry; brother Dwayne; father-in-law Kasper; brother-in-law Harold; and sisters-in-law, Diane, Linda, and Violet; and many other relatives too numerous to mention; and very best friend Janet (Harmen) Davis. She is predeceased by her father Neil and brother Darryl. Cheryl was born and raised in Winnipeg and graduated from West Kildonan Collegiate. Upon graduation she worked for the Scotia Bank and retired as an Operation Manager to become a stay at home mom. Cheryl was involved in many of the activities at her childrens school. She took great interest in her childrens as well as the neighbourhood childrens hockey program. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Deacon Nicholas Kohuch officiating. Interment to follow at Holy Family Cemetery. The family would like to thank Carla, Dr. Dave, Jillian and Aaron Crawford, the Avila family and the Spears family. Also thanks to the staff of the GD-4 ward of the Health Sciences Centre and staff at the eye care ward of the Misercordia Hospital for all their care and compassion. Hard to believe that it's been 19 years since you were taken away from us. So much has happened and so much has changed.
