Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA TERESA "TESS" TIMMONS April 28, 1920 - November 1, 2003 Peacefully, on Saturday, Tess Timmons passed away at St. Josephs Residence. Tess attended Immaculate Conception School, then went on to St. Marys Academy. She was raised as a member of St. Anthony of Padua Parish (W.K.) She became a W.R.N.S. in the Second World War. After the war, she became a St. Boniface Hospital nurse graduate, then went on to train as a public health nurse and spent the remainder of her working career in that field. Tess was a violinist with Winnipeg Senior Orchestra. She owned show dogs and won numerous ribbons in the many shows she entered. As a member of St. Anthonys, she was interested and involved in many activities. Some of these included her involvement with the CWL as President, on the executive for many years as well as serving on the Diocesan Executive. Tess served as Choir Leader for many years and played her violin at the Christmas Midnight Mass. She was an Eucharistic Minister and Lector. In June 2000, Tess was honoured as St. Anthonys 75th Anniversary as one of the oldest Living members of the parish. Many thanks to the Misericordia Health Centre and St. Josephs Residence staff for their loving care. Prayers will be held on Thursday November 6 at 8:00 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Parish 250 Burrin Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 7 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Parish with Msgr.
