Wolfgang was born on February 9, 1945 in Bavaria, Germany. Wanting to explore new horizons he moved to Winnipeg in the spring of 1968 where soon after he met his lovely wife Elsie in 1970. The lovely couple married August 18, 1973. He started working at Lonestar Motors in 1969 where he was head mechanic until 1995 when he retired. In the spring of 1988 Wolfgang joined the St. Hubertus Gun Club where through his hard work and dedication to the club, he was elected to an executive position. One of his proudest achievements with the club was to be the first to shoot 50/50 clays in the spring of 1996 sporting clay tournament. He loved sharing time with his loving wife Elsie, playing cards and having fun with his dog Sade. He enjoyed hunting deer, ducks and geese and always prepared a great feast for friends and family with the fruits of his labour. He was very passionate about everything he put his mind to. Family and friends thought of him as reliable, and he could always be counted on for his strength of heart and character. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him, and to know him is to love him. He will always be in our hearts and minds forever.
