FLORENCE MAY POITRAS (nee SMITH) December 26, 1919 - November 23, 2003 Florence passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 23, 2003 at the Victoria General Hospital following a brief illness. Flo was predeceased by her husband Edward; a daughter Carol Ann and a brother Sydney. She leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her memory her sons, Wayne and Roger (Christine) grandsons, Derek and Garth; loving sisters-in-law Rita Cherlet and family, Lorraine Poitras; brother-in-law Ralph Tofflemire; and aunt, Betty Hutton (nee St. Godard). Flo is also survived by numerous other relatives and dear friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba, ON1160 - 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or to a charity of your choice. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Saturday, November 29 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. A reception will follow the service.
