LOURDES M. OBNIAL September 4, 1946- December 8, 2003 Peacefully, on Monday, December 8, 2003, the most loving wife and mother has passed away at Deer Lodge Nursing Home. Lourdes was known for her laughter and fulfilment of happiness she had enjoyed with her family and friends. The beauty of her eyes and smile always lifted our spirits. Her memories are cherished in our hearts by her husband Edgar; and three children, Christopher, Harold and Rhymes. She is also remembered by her family in the Philippines and Ontario, and her memories held in the hearts of her close friends of the WEHL group. The nurses from Deer Lodge who had cared for Lourdes will not be forgotten. Thank you to all who have shared a part of Lourdes life. Thank you, Lourdes, for showing us the beauty of life through your heart and soul, you will be forever remembered! Lamay will take place on Thursday and Friday, December 11 and 12 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13 at St. Joseph the Worker, 505 Brewster St. (Transcona), at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens with reception to follow.
