Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLORNA GUDRUN PUGH Passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at Third Crossing Manor, Gladstone, Lorna Pugh, age 90 years, widow of Elmer Pugh. Lorna was born August 14, 1913 at Langruth, Manitoba where she lived until she married Elmer Pugh in 1944. They farmed north of Gladstone and had a concrete business in Gladstone. Family was important to Mom. She was a good mother and grandmother. Mom enjoyed gardening, especially flowers, and knitting during her years on the farm. Later on Dad and Mom did a lot of travelling in their motor home, which they really enjoyed. She was an avid reader all her life and also was keen on keeping up with world events. They moved to Gladstone in 1965 where they had the cement business. After Dad died in 1988, Mom spent 1989 in Legion Place and then went back to her house until the fall of 1997. She then lived in Whitelark Manor and then the Centennial Apartments in Gladstone. In February of 2001 she moved into Third Crossing Manor. Predeceased by her parents Magnus and Ingibjorg Peterson, her husband Elmer Pugh in 1988, her son Glen Pugh in 1979, her brother Douglas Peterson and sister Ruth Hall. She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter Maureen & Tim Winters of Gladstone, grandsons, Clinton and girlfriend Eva, Colin and wife Winnie and their son Ethan Colby, granddaughter Roselle and husband Sean and their daughter Helene, and daughter-in-law Patricia. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. in Clarkes Funeral Chapel, Gladstone with Rev. Bob Hunter officiating. Interment will follow in the Gladstone Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to Northwest Handi Transit, Box 757, Gladstone, Manitoba R0J 0T0, or to Third Crossing Manor Country Courtyard, Box 1000, Gladstone, Manitoba R0J 0T0.
