ERICH DAMM Peacefully, on Friday, December 12, 2003 at the Riverview Health Centre, Erich passed away at the age of 77 years. He leaves to mourn his passing, his beloved wife of 53 years, Elfriede (nee Klein) his four children, Ursula Reagan (Ron), Eric (Deidre), Patricia Reider (Alan), and Kelly; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Daniel, Benjamin, Jonathan, Adrienne and Tyler; and one great-grandson Jake. He was predeceased by his parents, Karl and Louise; one brother Irvin; and his sister Annamarie. Born in Frankfurt, Germany on September 12, 1926, Erich came to Winnipeg in 1953. He was employed by the railway most of his working life, retiring from Via Rail in 1986. He loved trips to the lake, fishing, bowling, and was an avid sports fan. Erich had a great wit and a brilliant sense of humour and will be dearly missed by his family and many people who had made his acquaintance throughout his life. A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 22 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment of ashes will take place at a later date. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at the Riverview Health Centre.
