ANNA (HANIA) PROCIUK 1903 - 2003 Anna passed away peacefully at her residence of Holy Family Nursing Home on December 14, 2003. Anna was born on July 5, 1903 in Lonesand, MB. Anna lived on the farm in Lonesand for sixty years, then moved to Winnipeg in 1963 to become a resident of the Holy Family Nursing Home. Anna was predeceased by her two brothers, Matt and William and one sister Nellie. Anna leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews and cousins. Anna was involved at Holy Family Nursing Home with crafts, carding wool for quilts and other activities. Anna loved to play with many of her dolls that she adored as if they were her own children. She spent a few hours daily doing this. The Holy Family Nursing Home put on a 100th birthday party for Anna that was celebrated with family, friends and staff. We the family would like to thank the staff on the 4th floor, who looked after her all these years for their generous love and caring of Anna. Prayers will be said on Tuesday (tonight), December 16, at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral Service will held on Wednesday, December 17, at 10:00 a.m. also at Cropo Chapel with a Redemptorist Father officiating.
