DOLLY PROVEN (nee SCHWEEN) 1914 - 2003 Peacefully at Seven Oaks Hospital on December 31, 2003, Dolly went to be with Our Lord at the age of 89 years. She leaves to mourn her chosen family, Karin, Reinhard and Andrea (Little Redhead) Hapke; her dear friend Janice Battison; her longtime friends, Herta and Erwin Finkel; and many special friends and family members. She was predeceased by her parents, Marie and George Schween; her husband John; her sister Marie; and brother David (Swanny) also by her longtime friend Andrew Patterson (Mr. P.). Thank you to her Amber Meadow Family for all their support and kind words, especially Suzanne and Fern. Many thanks to home care for their kindness especially Colleen. Also thanks to the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 3 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Johns Lutheran Church, 370 McKenzie St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dollys memory to the St. Johns Lutheran Memorial Fund.
