MAGDALENE (PEITSCH) RATTAI Magdalene Rattai, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2004, at 4:50 p.m. at Concordia Hospital. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Adolph, on May 1, 1988 and her great-grand-daughter Victoria. Mother was born on March 11, 1910, the seventh child to Ludwig and Ernestine Peitsch in Green Bay, MB. She married Adolph Rattai on November 16, 1930. Together they shared a strong faith in Jesus their Lord. On October 1, 1998, mother moved to Donwood Senior Apartments where she enjoyed five years of independent living. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her five children, Al Charles (Lavina), Gracie (Abe) Krahn, Gerald (Arlene), Donna (Jim) Storsley, Sharon (Ralph) Dickinson; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters and predeceased by four sisters and six brothers. Our thanks to visitation Pastor Logan, Pastor Wurch, Kae Unruh and Hazel Barker. Our gratitude to nursing and support staff at Concordia Hospital. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 10 at 11:00 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, Park Ave. E., Beausejour, MB, with viewing prior to the service. Officiating will be Pastor Vincent Rattai and Pastor Leonard Wurch. Sharing and viewing will be on Friday, January 9 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. also at the chapel.
