Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryADA MILDRED THOMPSON (nee EBY) Peacefully on Thursday January 8, 2004, Mildred passed away at the Carman Memorial Hospital at the age of 94. Mildred was predeceased by her husband Albert, parents Samuel and Nancy Eby, brothers Milo, Herbert, Clayton and Ira; sisters Winnie, Vera, Verdella, Hilda, son Laverne and daughter in law Mary Jane. Left to mourn her passing and cherish her memory are her daughter Sheila, grandchildren Cheryl (Danny), Lori (Norman), Barbara Ann (Keith), Jamie (Debbie) and Nancy, great-grandchildren Jodie (Brett), Stephanie (Kevin), Christopher, Jessica, Nicole, Lucas, Rebecca and James and great-great grandson Zackery. Mildred was born on November 19, 1909 in the Roland district. She lived most of her adult life in Holland, Manitoba. She enjoyed her garden and flowers in the summer and liked to keep busy with her quilting, crocheting and various handiworks she was so good at in the winter. Mildred was a lifetime member of the Ideal Rebekah Lodge No. 18 at Holland, Manitoba. She was the happiest when surrounded by her family. Mildred enjoyed her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and most recently little Zackery to the fullest. Grandma will be lovingly remembered and missed by her family and friends. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff at the Carman Hospital for the care and comfort Mildred received. A private service to celebrate her life will be held at Doyles Funeral Chapel in Carman with Chuck Ross officiating. Interment will take place in the Fairview Cemetery, Roland. Memorial donations may be made to the Odd Fellow and Rebecca Lodge Memorial Eye Foundation, Box 132, 4025 Roblin Blvd, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3R 3V5
